BFBS Media Innovation is delighted to announce its partnership with IPACS Australia.
Two industry leaders, BFBS and IPACS, are joining forces with the aim to provide the best TV, sport and music to the Australian armed forces using BFBS’ MiPlayer platform. Already in use with the UK Ministry of Defence, both on land and at sea the MiPlayer platform offers access via WiFi to media streaming of recreational and training content in remote locations where internet connectivity is poor or absent.

Hon. David Ridgway (Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment) announces the MoU between IPACS and Tacmin Group in SA Legislative Parliament. The Minister goes on to state that “The [IPACS] technology is fascinating[ …]. It effectively monitors all equipment in mines in real time back in the centralised data asset management centre. The MOU will develop a shared pipeline of project opportunities focused on remote asset management technology and technology consulting services in the defence, mining and construction industries.”

Minister David Ridgway witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between IPACS Australian and Tacmin Group. The two companies are currently working on proposals for key customers in South Africa. Under this arrangement, IPACS will export its technology to the South African market with Tacmin as the local partner.
